Cougars and Kittens 2003 Calendar
Yes, we're doing it again this year.
By popular demand (read: "if there's a market
for something, we'll sell it..."), we're once again going to be shooting the
Cougars and Kittens calendar - this time for the year 2003. And if
you're a model in the Atlanta, Los Angeles
, Dallas, Houston,
Austin, or San Antonio area, this could be where you
come in.

We're pretty excited about the stuff we've got
planned for this year. Last year's effort sold well enough that we're moving
up to a larger press that should produce even higher quality results. We're
also planning on eliminating the "wire binding" used in the 2002 calendars in
favor of a "saddle stich" (staple up the middle), which opens the possibility
of a two-page centerfold shot (for those of you who always wanted to be
stapled in the navel).
At left you can see some of the coverage we got
in the national media for last year's effort (this excerpt is from Mustang
and Fords magazine, December 2001). It's our intent at a minumum to buy
ad space in Mustang and Fords for several months this year, so if you
sign on with the project, you have a fairly good shot at national level print
exposure.
We only need a few items from you in order to
get you in consideration for the available modeling slots, and a list of those
prerequisites appears below.
Atlanta, June 29-30, 2002
The Atlanta photo shoot is being done in conjunction
with a car show to be held at the Gwinnett Place Marriott, Atlanta, GA. The show
takes place for most of the morning of June 29th, and judging for the
participants is over at about 3 p.m., at which point the cars should be available for
photographing. We may be shooting them that afternoon, or we may shoot them the
following morning (the 30th). We're working out the details for this now, and
you're encouraged to check back here or
contact us for more information.
Our objective is to come away from Atlanta with at
least three (and possibly four) usable shots for this year. And that will mean
having three or four models on hand. Several of the slots are already filled,
but several remain open.
Los Angeles, July 20-21, 2002
The Los Angeles shoot is connected to a car show
that's going to be held at the Cypress Marriott hotel, Cypress, CA, July 20-21,
2002. The show takes place for most of the morning of the 20th and
judging for the participants is over at about 3 p.m. We may be shooting the cars
(and models) late that afternoon or, depending on the tightness of the schedule,
the following morning (the 21st). We're working out the details for
this now, and you're encouraged to check back here or
contact us for more information.
Texas Shoots (ongoing through mid-August, 2002)
Texas is the place we call home, so you can expect
that we'll be doing as much shooting here as we can. By and large we don't have
any "definite" dates set for when we'll be working here, however, you can expect
that between June and mid-August we'll probably be visiting most of the major
cities. And there's a good chance we'll be turning up at the "Yellow Rose" show
in Dallas in early August. Stay tuned or
contact us to make us aware that you're
a fellow Texan with an interest.
What You Need to do to Sign On with Us
There are just a few items we need to know in
order to get you signed up with us. In a nutshell, they are as follows:
Your Name.
Your Age (note: must be over 18 years of age).
An e-mail address or phone number where we can contact you, your agent, or your manager.
Your half-day modeling rate or your willingness to work on a TFP arrangement.
Your dress size, shoe size, hair and eye color, and measurements.
A website address where we can see photos of you or, alternatively, photos of you e-mailed to us.
Photos must include one headshot and one full length body shot in swimwear.
If you've got e-mail at your disposal, we encourage you to
